   AVA FAVORITE QUOTES & WRITINGS:

Ava was a prolific writer of poetry, lyrics, journals and was published in her early twenties.

She wrote about her darkest moments and deepest pains of lost loves and hope.

She had no one to share these thoughts with, save her mother.

Ava wrote this about herself on Facebook her last day:

"Opera Singer, Amazon Warrior, blues singer, sassy hot fox, motorcyclist, activist for human & animal rights, lover of all kinds of people, places and things. Love without fear of anything. Love is the only way."

   SOME OF AVA’S FAVORITE QUOTES:

     -  Dug the Dog from UP quote:

“Hello, my name is Dug. I have just met you and I love you.”

     -  Marilyn Monroe quote:

“I’m selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control and at times hard to         handle. But if you can’t handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don’t deserve me at my best.”

     -  Mario Savio quote:

“There comes a time when the operation of the machine becomes so odious, makes you so sick at heart, that you can’t take part, you can’t even passively take part, and you’ve got to put your bodies upon the gears and upon the wheels, upon all the apparatus, and you’ve got to make it stop. And you’ve got to indicate to the people who run it, the people who own it, that unless you’re free the machine will be prevented from working at all.”

     -  Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., 1963 quote:

“Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that. Hate multiplies hate, violence multiplies violence, and toughness multiplies toughness in a descending spiral of destruction...the chain reaction of evil–hate begetting hate, wars producing more wars–must be broken, or we shall be plunged into the dark abyss of annihilation.”

     -  Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Quote:

“Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter.”

     -  Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Quote:

“Nothing in all the world is more dangerous than sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity.”

     -  M. Scott Peck, MD quote:

“We should judge others only with great care, and that such carefulness begins with self-judgment.”
